Imagine Imagine narrows the digital skills gap with a national programme of free online courses that will equip 18-25 year olds with the commercial know-how to start their own digital business, and help them become employable in the digital sector. We will launch this in partnership with leading educational institutions and businesses.
Start helps entrepreneurs set up in Tech City by providing practical advice and guidance on everything from location to contacts. We support talent development through community initiatives as well as through mentoring events for local companies.
We introduce investors to deal-flow through tailored engagement and help companies make international connections. Through links with UK Trade & Investment (and their 96 consulates and offices around the globe) We help companies expand internationally via tailored advice and guidance on exports.
We also represent the views of the business and tech community to Government, feeding into and helping shape national policy that promotes enterprise and growth.
Grow is all about three projects: High Growth Segment, Future Fifty and the Cluster Alliance.
In partnership with LSE, we’ve launched the High Growth Segment, offering high-growth companies an additional route to access the public markets with more achievable eligibility requirements.
Future Fifty is a bespoke Concierge Service to enable high-growth foreign businesses to scale and succeed in the UK. A dedicated account team of professionals develop and administer a programme of private and public sector support – ranging from immigration issues and cutting red tape to export support and engagement with investors, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders.
Through our Cluster Alliance, we’re collaborating with 13 other technology clusters from around the country to share knowledge and resources in order to build on our collective success.
