March in Camden will bring the Youth Marketing Strategy festival, the biggest youth marketing gathering in Europe, organised by Voxburner. Read below for more information on the event and the speakers you’ll hear from
The main stage of the Roundhouse, a place that has welcomed the likes of the Clash, Blondie, (and One Direction), opened up instead to 120 speakers from the biggest names in the youth marketing industry. What are they all there for?
There’s a perception for many that the 16-24 year old demographic is the hardest one to reach. Young people are unique in their unparalleled access to information, their intuitive understanding of digital tools and social media, and hunger for individuality. With youth trends shifting as quickly as a disappearing Snapchat, there was a need to fill the knowledge gap.
Enter YMS. A platform for brands, agencies and media owners to understand the fast-moving world of young people aged 16-24. Held over the 8th to the 9th of March 2016, the event aims to provide marketers with true insights into the mysterious millennial.
Plus, this year YMS are expanding their startup horizons. Their annual Youth 100 awards held on day 1 will introduce a brand new startup category, celebrating the best start ups of 2016.
There are some incredible names on the agenda, such as Buzzfeed, Microsoft, Google, Deezer, Airbnb, Channel 4 and more.
Content on the day will range from content marketing, the future of media, NxtGen marketing, new social platforms, virtual reality and more. Not to mention live youth panels where you can quiz young people on any and all of your questions, live entertainment, cool freebies and more.
Youth Marketing Strategy 2016 takes place on 8th – 9th March 2016 at the Roundhouse, Camden.
