The volunteer-led scheme is aimed at fostering a long-term improvement in UK coding talent, by inspiring and encouraging the development of skills in Computer Programming and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects from an early age.
There are currently 996 Clubs aimed at children aged 9-11, and the scheme aims to have classes in 25% of UK primary schools by the end of 2015.

Digital Summer Camp
Digital Summer Camp promotes the technology skills of budding entrepreneurs aged 9-18, and is supported by Tech City UK, the Mayor of London, Pearson, BCS and Nexters.
Every July the three-day event gives students the chance to put their digital skills to the test by developing their ideas, building an app or creating their own website. Not only that, but an Innovation Zone of Tech City UK’s hottest start-ups share advice and demonstrate their products first-hand.
