A not-for-profit industry-led initiative, Digital Shoreditch is a celebration of East London’s digital hub, hosting the annual Digital Shoreditch Festival, holding competitions and workshops and even giving out awards.

One lucky business every year gets a million pounds thanks to Digital Shoreditch, whose Million Pound Start-up gives one new company the chance to earn £1m in equity investment for their innovative idea.

Shoreditch Works make it easier for young companies to grow in Shoreditch by running spaces for start-ups in the heart of Tech City UK.

Founded in 2012, they are focused on space, creating a work environment for small companies and membership options ranging from roaming to full time.

Shoreditch Works offer more than just space. They offer a place where conversations happen and companies help each other grow, with mentorship opportunities and regular networking events.

Independent Shoreditch is The Business Alliance for Shoreditch, Hoxton, Old Street, Brick Lane, Spitalfields and the City fringe businesses.

Founded in 2011 the not-for-profit enterprise is owned and led by businesses in the area, lobbying on issues of local investment/improvement and providing networking and cost-saving opportunities.

There are notable overlaps between Independent Shoreditch and Tech City UK – and not just geographically.

 With the common aim of promoting, strengthening and supporting the local business community, we work closely with Independent Shoreditch to meet the needs of the tech cluster and to help them nurture a flourishing creative and entrepreneurial hub.
