Friday marks the date of the inaugural PlusMINUS consumer tech event in Birmingham, with some huge industry players in attendance and taking to the stage.
The inaugural PlusMINUS event will be held in Birmingham on June 5th, bringing together the UK tech scene with representatives from Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol and London.

Shazam, YPlan, Hailo, Betfair, Jaguar Land Rover, Havas Media, PHD Media and a range of startups backed by Microsoft and Wayra.
10 startups will pitch to 50 investors and angels in the morning, followed by an afternoon of 15 speakers exploring potentially disruptive technology for the retail industry. Topics range from apps and growth, with Peter Briffett, COO of YPlan, Nick Lisher, VP Growth at Depop, to brands and monetisation with Amy Kean, Head of Futures at Havas Media, and Anjali Ramachandran, Head of Innovation at PHD Media.
